Submission of clinical photos
SDI is inviting you to clinically use these restoratives on your patients and document these restorations (in summary or in detail) with high-resolution photographs. Clinical photos will show the dentists’ masterpieces all over the world, adding value to both ends of this partnership.
The exclusive composites you are evaluating are not yet available for sale. This is, therefore, confidential. Please read our confidentiality agreement.
Your restorations can be on anterior or posterior teeth:
- Any class (I to V)
- Core build-ups
- Indirect inlays, onlays and veneers
- Splinting
- Porcelain repair
- Sandwich technique with glass ionomers.
The essential elements of an SDI clinical case include:
- Step by step high-resolution restorative photos (from start to end).
- A summary of the case steps (either Word, Notepad, PowerPoint, Keynote, Pages, etc.). This can be a short summary describing the case, or a more detailed case overview, that would be suitable for submission for publication in a journal or magazine.
- Step-by-step videos and/or radiographic images of before and after are also welcome if you would like to register them.
SDI welcomes all clinical photos. We will seek additional later permission to use them across our communications and/or dentist trade journals and magazines. Examples of summary and detailed case studies are shown below.
Examples of great photos:
- We recommend that photos are well framed, without saliva or residue present on teeth
- Please ensure great lens focus on angles that clearly illustrate the step
- Before and after photos of the radiograph are also helpful, if available.
